Disaster Prevention Research and Service Center
1.Purpose
The University and the Russian Institute for Materials Science Company, Vniisims (Russian Research Institute for the synthesis of Materials) established the crystal growth research center. The center integrates teachers with materials and optoelectronic technology in crystal growth research and is try to offer industrial-quality single crystals for the semiconductor and optoelectronics industries at home and abroad.

Engineering and Technology Application Center
1. Purpose and vision for the future
Founded since 1968, China University of Science and Technology has already been set up in various engineering-related departments. College of Engineering (CE), established in 2009, consists of six departments and four graduate schools and over one hundred teachers. In technical and vocational education systems, College of Engineering has relatively excellent R&D manpower, and has obtained a number of projects, especially in practical aspects. In recent years a number of experts from ITRI, CSIST and industries equipped with both academic theory and practical experience have joined (CE) to be teachers, which have further enhanced the R & D capability. Therefore, CE hopes to integrate a cross-disciplinary professional research team to strengthen the competitiveness in obtaining research projects and to provide more comprehensive services.

Disaster Prevention Research and Service Center
1.Purpose
Disaster Prevention Research and Service Center with Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Earthquake Engineering and ecological construction expertise offers services such as: the slope debris flow disaster prevention, earthquake disaster prevention and control, structural damage control, prevention of environmental disasters and ecological environmental protection etc. The focus of this center is in pursuit of sustainable development in harmony with the environment.
Following the government's policy to promote disaster prevention, and technology integration and implementation as the primary considerations, DPRSC is committed to disaster prevention technology research, promotion and implementation, including the earthquake disaster prevention and control, structural damage control, slope disaster prevention, landslides prevention and control.
