The College is organized into six academic departments and four graduate schools. The six departments are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science and Information Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, respectively. The four graduate schools are Electronic Engineering Graduate School, Optomechatronic Engineering Graduate School, Civil and Diaster Prevention Graduate School, and Graduate School of Architecture, respectively.

The objectives of the Engineering College are to produce graduates who are capable of engineering relevant expertise for industry and to be successful in career. To achieve the objectives, all graduates need to have essential abilities such as: independent thinking and creativity, team-cooperative spirit, foreign language communication, and problem analyzing and solving. In addition to departmental professional training, strengthening systematic training to fit the development and requirement of inter-field integration in industry is one of significant properties of the Engineering College. To achieve this goal, the Engineering College has gradually been integrating the resources around departments, including teachers, courses, laboratories and software, and constructing inter-department and inter-college learning mechanisms.
